What I Do
Story
Research, interviews, ideas and storytelling. I help you identify what matters, find the human angle and shape it into a story that connects.
Film
From concept to final film. Script, directing, producing, cinematography, editing, sound design and post-production — handled end to end.
Partner
A senior creative partner, embedded when you need one. For organisations looking for someone who can understand the business, develop ideas and lead productions without building an entire in-house team.

Jonas Anund Vogel

How do you make research about sustainable urban development engaging?
Grön BoStad was a collaboration between KTH, IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute and the County Administrative Board of Stockholm, focusing on sustainable housing, reduced segregation and a low-carbon economy.
The obvious approach would have been to let the researchers explain their work. I chose something else. Each film was built around the personality of the researcher as much as the research itself. Rather than simply asking experts to explain their process, I wanted to see them think, react, hesitate and reveal something of themselves.
The result was a series of films where complex subjects were given a human presence — making the research easier to understand, but also giving the audience a reason to stay. This film features Jonas Vogel, whose slightly sceptical and wonderfully argumentative personality made him impossible to resist.
My role: Project lead, interviewer, director and editor.
Scania
Legends of Long Haulage

What if a 55-minute film from 1967 could become a story for millions of people today?
When Scania sent us a hard drive containing hundreds of films from their archive, most of the material had an obvious historical value. One film caught my attention: Dubai Road Express, a 45-minute film following long-haul truck drivers in 1967.
Instead of treating it as archive material, I saw the possibility of a new story. I researched the history behind the film, met employees across Scania and spoke to truck drivers from the era. The original film was then completely restructured into a six-part series, combining the archival material with new interviews and a contemporary dramatic structure.
The result was a documentary series that turned Scania’s history into entertainment — and brought an old piece of corporate archive to a new global audience. The series received Gold for Best Cinematic Craft at the Swedish Content Awards and reached more than 35 million views across different channels.
My role: Concept, script, interviews, directing, editing.

Smokey’s Dream — When Formula 1 Came to the Village

Formula 1 in a small village in Småland. It sounds almost impossible — which was precisely what made the story interesting.
When producer Christian Albinsson told me that Formula 1 had actually been racing in Anderstorp during the 1970s, I immediately wanted to understand how this could have happened.
The project had existed for some time, but the material was scattered across hard drives and the story had never been shaped into a finished film. Before going on parental leave in 2024, I took the project from an undeveloped idea to a 52-minute documentary cut. That cut became the foundation for the film’s financing and eventual completion.
The finished documentary tells a very Swedish story about ambition, dreams and the strange moment when one of the world’s biggest sporting spectacles arrived in a small community in Småland.
My role: Story development and editing.
Opus Bilprovning
Morning Routines

How do you make people care about a car inspection company?
Opus Bilprovning wanted to communicate a simple idea: they welcome every kind of car, no matter how battered, strange or unconventional it may be. Together with director Charlotte Frandell, I developed a series of films that deliberately moved away from conventional corporate communication.
Instead of explaining the service, we followed people doing completely absurd things inside their cars: eating crayfish, performing their morning routines and singing badly. The films turned a fairly ordinary service into something people actually wanted to share.
The campaign became a series of three entertaining films that together generated more than 20 million views.
My role: Creative Producer, A-camera and editor.

Bamse’s World

Sometimes the best new idea is hidden inside something that already exists.
I was sent a finished informational film about the activities at Bamse’s World at TUI’s hotels with a simple question: “Can you make something else out of this?” I could.
Instead of communicating the information to parents, I rebuilt the film around the children themselves. I wrote a new script, recorded a new voice-over and transformed the material into something playful, fast and directly addressed to its audience.
The response was strong enough that the format was expanded into 16 additional episodes, reaching millions of viewers. It was a simple lesson in communication: don’t just tell people what they need to know. Give them a reason to want to watch.
My role: Scriptwriter and editor.
Swedish Ice Hockey Association
Puckey

A new mascot needs more than a costume.
In 2024, the Swedish Ice Hockey Association launched its new mascot, Puckey, at Avicii Arena. The challenge was to create content that could work simultaneously for young children, hockey fans and thousands of people watching from the arena stands.
I developed the creative concept around one simple idea: Willy. I wrote and produced the song, coordinated the choreography, directed the shoot and edited around 30 pieces of content specifically adapted for the arena’s giant media cube.
The films have since been used repeatedly at Avicii Arena during Tre Kronor games. The most rewarding part has been seeing the content do exactly what it was designed to do: get both children and adults on their feet.
My role: Creative development, music production, directing and editing.
